Just in time for spring, the second annual Tampa Caribbean Carnival will help you shrug off those winter blues. This April 28, 2007 Tampa will blaze with the excitement of Soca & Calypso, Reggae, masquerade parade, steel drum jamboree, savory Caribbean cuisine, arts & crafts and much more.

Special events include performance by Soca Monarch King Iwer George, Krazy, Red Hot Flames and much more on the carnival day. Other highlights include the Flag Party at Caribbean Jasmine’s (formerly Tropix) and the carnival cruise party on Friday the 27th, and many more sensational parties throughout the city. Needless to say it will be an entire weekend of clean, unadulterated, good time.

So free up yourself and bring your family, friends and lots of energy and tantalize your senses with the sights, sounds and tastes of the Caribbean isles. The main event is held in at the Florida State Fairgrounds from noon to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday April 28, 2007. Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 11, and free for children 5 & under. Parking is $5 per car and $10 per RV or bus. Visitors should enter the Fairgrounds via the U.S. Highway 301 entrance.
